Open Question: How can I remove the virus "Antivir" which has infected my system ?

The Virus is in the disguise of a Antivirus Software and has been installed in my system automatically. It is not allowing me to use my computer properly. I have Quick Heal (Ver 11.) installed in my system and its virus database is uptodate. I have run it several times to scan my system but it is not able to clean it. In fact it is not able to catch it. I have tried to take help from Internet tutorials. But the suggested antivir files like av.exe, antivir.exe, antivir.ink,updatecheck.dll,uninstall.ink etc are not found in my system. I am at a loss what to do.
