I'm looking for the right information about star HD 283271 (or GSC 01817-00020 or 2MASS J03592110+2422485 or TYC 1817-20-1) - it seems that the informations about this star are highly (!) different in each star catalogue. In the big database of Simbad it's written that it's spectral type is G5 D. - so it's a sun-like star! But if I use the database called Celestron's the sky it's written that the spectral is B9 IV --> on the other hand this program estimates its distance 15,74 light-years away. In a third program the famous Stellarium this star is reddish as Simbad suggests!! So what's happened to this star ? ->> If you add together the two striking information that it's a sun-like star and is 15,74 light-years away that means it's a very promising target to research it - BUT in fact it's not even mentioned on the list of close or sun-like or close sun-like stars! It isn't mentioned anywhere. This mystery star also is the target star of Wayne Herschel's striking theory (which I'd call rather FACT than fictional theory) that all ancient civilizations with pyramids actually worshipped this star as their place of origins and as the star of celestial visitors. - and an immense amount of evidence seem to prrove it. Do you think informations about this star were straightly adulterated? In fact when Wayne Herschel asked SETI to take a look at it they just ignored him and actually it never was oficially researched if this star has habitable planets or not...... Read More »
